PROMOTE FOSTERING
Our main objective for Muslim Foster Network was to promote the virtues and benefits of fostering within the local community at ABL in partnership with Bradford Council.
The project aims to raise awareness and provide information specifically within the Muslim community about the importance and rewards of fostering. By hosting the Muslim Foster Network, the initiative seeks to engage with individuals and families who belong to the Muslim faith and encourage them to consider becoming foster parents.
The project involved various activities such as community events, workshops, information sessions, and awareness campaigns tailored to the needs and cultural sensitivities of the Muslim community. These efforts were intended to address any cultural or religious barriers that may exist and ensure that potential foster parents from the Muslim community feel supported and empowered to take part in the fostering process.
By collaborating with Bradford Council, the project can benefit from the resources, expertise, and network of the local government authority. This partnership allows for greater outreach and ensures that the project aligns with the broader objectives and strategies of the council in relation to foster care.
